The competition costs $20 to enter and is open to members only.

No new entries will be accepted after Round 5 (Thursday the 9th of April). Further terms and conditions apply.

Art Exhibition – Kathleen Moore

We’re pleased to be showcasing the work of local artist Kathleen Moore throughout the month of March.

Kathleen’s exhibition features a collection of landscapes, portraits and still life paintings, all displayed on the Bowlo walls and available for purchase. It’s a great opportunity to support local talent while enjoying the space in a different way.

Kathleen will also be on site on selected Fridays and Sundays during the month, giving members and guests the chance to chat about her work and her process. She’ll also be creating live charcoal portraits on paper, so you might even walk away with your own likeness drawn on the day.

If you’re at the Bowlo over the coming weeks, take a moment to have a look and if something speaks to you, it might just be coming home with you.

GoFundMe – Progress Update

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the Bowlo GoFundMe so far. We’re committed to putting those funds where they matter most and showing tangible progress along the way.

The keg system is now fully installed and operational, with a special thanks to Nail Brewing for helping us bring this to life. Cold beer flowing reliably from the taps has been one of the most requested improvements, and it’s great to see it delivered.

We’re also close to completing the final major step in making the kitchen fully operational. The range hood installation is imminent, with the remaining administrative steps to follow shortly after. Funding for this stage is secure.

Next on the priority list is air conditioning, with quotes already received and planning underway. We’re also looking to upgrade our PA system, which will allow us to host more band nights and improve the overall live music experience at the Bowlo.

We’re putting your contributions where they make the biggest difference but there’s still more to do. Continued support helps us keep improving the space for everyone who uses it.
