Social Bowls
Come and enjoy our heritage green - one of the few remaining grass greens!
Members can play social lawn bowls free during our opening hours. It costs $40 a year to be a member and members bring up to five guests free. Members can log in and book a rink which includes a picnic table.
We have four rinks available for booking, and four for walk-ins. Guests are welcome to come and try social bowls for $10 a head without a booking.
Ask at the bar for a jack, and help yourself to bowls and scorecards.
Kids are welcome on the green, but if bowlers are playing, we may ask them to move to the park if they're disrupting the game.
No dogs or heels on the green, please pack away at the end of your game.
We organise social bowls tournaments from time to time, and are always looking for new members and volunteers to help. Check the Whats On page to find out more.
Bookable spaces during opening hours
During our opening hours members can book:
Bowling rink for up to 8 players, includes bowls hire, table and score cards (free)
Ladies Lounge, a private room for 10 people suitable for dinner parties, craft/book clubs, or meetings ($50)
BBQ and large outdoor table, includes outdoor sink and bench space, seating around the table for 12 people, plus extra chairs available and plenty of standing room ($50)

Members are also able to bring their own food during opening hours. If you plan to bring a large group during opening hours, we’d appreciate you letting us know so we have enough staff available.

Private functions
When we are not open for members, our entire club is available for private functions. This option is popular for weddings, wakes, corporate functions, birthday parties and more. We recommend you book in advance (but always worth asking!)
Private functions include exclusive use of the entire venue including:
Indoor and outdoor tables and chairs
Lawn bowls, bowling green, table tennis, pool table, table soccer and other games
BBQ and utensils
Kitchenette with kettle, microwave, fridge, freezer, cups, saucers, platters, plates
Wheelchair friendly venue with accessible parking, bathroom and bowling green
Baby change facilities
Free parking available at the end of Hevron Street
Fully licensed bar, strictly no BYO alcohol
Wi-fi internet
Plug and play PA System / AV System – please ask if you have specific requirements
There is currently no oven or stove.
The total maximum capacity of the venue is 200 people, and you are welcome to self-cater or bring in a food truck.
